The results of the Reader’s Digest annual Most Trusted Brands survey are out, and Canon is proud to be voted the third Most Trusted Brand overall, as well as the Most Trusted Brand in the Digital Camera category.
CEO of Canon New Zealand, Kim Conner, says that this recognition is a great achievement for Canon New Zealand who are proud to be listed amongst some of New Zealand’s most well-loved brands.
“More than ever, consumers are looking for companies they can trust, that are genuine and reliable. Canon prides itself on being a trustworthy brand and is committed to continuing to deliver experiences that exceed our consumers’ expectations,” says Conner.
Other top-listed brands for 2017 are, in order: Whittaker’s, Tip Top, Edmonds, Resene, Air NZ, Mitre 10, Toyota and Sleepyhead.
A representative sample of 1,400 New Zealanders were surveyed by market research company Roy Morgan Research to attain the Most Trusted Brand findings.
Respondents were selected to reflect the demographics of the general population and were tasked with completing an on-line questionnaire. The 60 categories of products and services reflected a broad range of industries.
“Alongside these results, Canon have also been named the 4th Most Reputable Company in the world by the Reputation Institute, truly highlighting our dedication to being a company worthy of admiration and respect,” says Conner.
