Shooting is possible when the AC adapter is connected.
Caution
The camcorder may become hot after using it continuously for long periods of time; this is not a malfunction. If the camcorder becomes unusually hot or it becomes hot after using it only for a short while, it may indicate a problem with the camcorder. Consult a Canon Service Center.
A faint sound can be heard while the AC adapter is connected to a power outlet. This is not a malfunction.
To prevent equipment breakdowns and excessive heating, do not connect the supplied AC adapter to voltage converters for overseas travels or special power sources such as those on aircraft and ships, DC-AC inverters, etc.
