How to claim

    Step 1. Purchase and fill in the claim form

    Purchase any eligible Canon product from an authorised Canon New Zealand retailer between 2 April 2026 and 15 June 2026 and keep your box and receipt.
    Then register your claim here by 30 June 2026.

  • Receipt

    Step 2. Upload your details

    Fill in your details, including your name, phone number and valid email address.

    Then upload a photo of your receipt and your serial number.

    We’ll also ask you five questions about your photography preferences.

  • Form

    Step 3. This is the fun bit!

    Once the claim has been validated, you’ll receive a confirmation email. We will send your bonus lens to the address provided in your claim within 28 business days. You will also receive a tracking number to track the delivery of your new lens!

Eligible products
No more than three (3) Claims may be made per household.
IMPORTANT: Mailed receipts must be received by 30 June 2026.

  • When is the Promotion Period?

    The purchase period is from 02 April 2026 until 15 June 2026.
    You must make a claim online by 30 June 2026 to be eligible.

  • Who can enter the Promotion?

    The Promotion is only open to individual Australian and New Zealand residents who are aged 18 years and over and are not employees or immediate family members of employees, of the Promoter or its related companies.

  • How do I make a claim?

    a. Purchase any Eligible Product between 02 April 2026 until 15 June 2026 and keep your receipt and packaging.

    b. Go online to canon.com.au/bonuslens (Australia) or canon.com.nz/bonuslens (New Zealand) to make a claim by 30 June 2026.

    c. Upload a photo of your receipt and a photo of the product serial number.

    d. Fill in your details including name, phone number, valid email address and physical address

  • What is required on my receipt?

    The receipt for the Eligible Product must clearly specify:

    the Eligible Product purchased
    the price of the Eligible Product purchased
    the name of the authorised Canon Australia or New Zealand retailer
    the purchase date
    the receipt number; and
    that payment for the Eligible Product has been received in full.

    If the receipt is missing any of the above information, or is illegible or indecipherable, it will render the claim invalid.

  • Where can I find my product serial number?

    The serial number will generally be 12 digits long.

    It can be found in the following locations -
    On the bottom of the camera printed in black, grey or white
    Behind the LCD screen (on some models only)
    On a white sticker on the box your camera came in

  • How many times can I enter?

    No more than three (3) Claims may be made per household.

  • Where will my bonus lens be delivered?

    To the address inputted in your claim. Please note PO Box addresses will not be accepted.

  • When will I receive my bonus lens?

    We will send the bonus lens to the address provided in the Claim via Registered Post within 28 business days of validation.

  • Will someone need to sign to accept the delivery of my bonus lens?

    Yes.

  • How do I check the status of my claim or track the delivery of my bonus lens?

    You can check the status of an existing claim on the claim page, by entering your mobile number and claim ID. Your claim ID can be found in your email confirmation.
    After your claim has been approved, you will receive a delivery tracking number via email within 28 business days of validation to track the delivery of your bonus lens.

  • I am having trouble entering the promotion, what could be wrong?

    Ensure you have entered the correct information in all the fields on the entry form. If you have missed entering information or you have entered it incorrectly, please refer to the error messages that will appear when you try to submit your Claim. You will not be able to submit your Claim until all information requested has been correctly entered.
