This firmware update (Version 1.1.0.0) incorporates the following enhancement.
1.Mopria Print Service has been added.
Mopria Print Service is an application that allows printing to Mopria®-certified printers from a mobile device running Android OS version 4.4 or later.
No additional set-up, such as installing the CP1200 printer driver, is necessary. Mopria Print Service is available as a free download from the Google Play Store.
Note:
Once the SELPHY CP1200 is updated to Version 1.1.0.0, it cannot be restored to a previous firmware version.
Preparations for the firmware update:
The downloaded firmware folder contains the firmware (File Name: cp1200_1100.cnn, File Size: 5,701,584 bytes) and a procedure manual for updating the firmware (PDF file, five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish and Simplified Chinese). Please read through the firmware update procedure manual carefully before starting update operations.
The following items are required to perform the firmware update:
1. Compact Photo Printer SELPHY CP1200
2. Compact Power Adapter, AC cable bundled with the printer
3. A computer
OS: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 SP1, or Mac OS X (v10.8 or later)
4. An SD memory card or an SDHC/SDXC memory card (commercially available)
5. An SD card reader-writer (commercially available) or an SD card slot on the computer.
(If using an SDHC/SDXC memory card, this will only work with a device that is compatible with the SDHC/SDXC standard.
6. The firmware (the file downloaded from the Canon Web site)
