If your projector model and firmware version are listed below, please contact your Canon Service Centre.
Note: If you only operate your projector from the top control on the projector body or with the remote control, no specific measures are required.

How to check the firmware version:
Projecting on a white surface, press the Menu button in the top control on the projector body (or on the remote control). Next, select [Information] from the menu screen and check the firmware version that is displayed.

How to Use Projection to Check the Firmware Version
After the turning on the projector, press the MENU button on the projector or remote controller to open the menu.

Select [Information] on the Menu screen to open the Information screen.

Check the [Firmware] field on the Information screen.
