The Circle Discord Server – Community Guidelines
Welcome to The Circle - a space for creators to connect, learn, and grow together. To keep this a safe, inspiring, and respectful space, we ask that you follow these community guidelines. By joining the server, you agree to the following rules:
1. Be kind and respectful
This is a space for all creators - no matter your experience, background or identity. We do not tolerate hate speech, discrimination, bullying or harassment. Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.
2. Keep it safe for work
Please don’t share any NSFW (not safe for work) content - this includes text, images, usernames or nicknames. Let’s keep the focus on creativity, not controversy.
3. Protect your privacy
Please don’t share any personal or sensitive information about yourself or others. This includes your full name, contact details, passwords, login credentials, health information, financial details, or anything else you'd consider private. For your safety, avoid sharing identifying details in public channels. AF – this is fine.
4. No spam or self-promotion
Avoid spamming, flooding channels with low-effort content, or promoting your own social channels, products or services without approval. Unsure? Ask a mod first.
5. Stay on topic
Each channel has a purpose - whether it's for feedback, events, gear tips or inspiration. Keep convos in the right place so everyone can follow along and get the most out of the space.
6. Respect mentors, moderators, and the Canon team
Our mentors and moderators are here to guide and support you. Please respect their time and direction. Disrespect or repeated boundary-crossing may result in removal.
7. Follow Discord’s Terms of Service
Everything you do here must align with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
8. Keep it creative and supportive
This is a space for photography, videography, and creative growth - not debates about politics, religion or other divisive topics. Keep conversations inspiring, constructive and welcoming.
9. Rule-breaking = removal
We want this to be a safe and positive space. If you break the rules, you may receive a warning or be removed from the server.
