What is recording media

The Basics:

Recording media refers to the memory cards used by digital cameras for saving the captured images to. Examples of recording media are CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD). SD cards are the most predominant format, due to their small size, and are used in most Canon compact and DSLR cameras.
