Whilst the RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens is designed to get the most out of an APS-C sized sensor, it can also be used on EOS R Full Frame cameras¹. This makes the lens a great go-to for those wanting to expand their existing RF lens kit without worrying about adapters.
The light and compact design of the RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM is a great feature for those wanting an all purpose zoom lens without the heavy bulkiness of larger lenses, especially for those conscious about weight while travelling.
Equipped with a Centre Focus Macro function, the RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM allows you to shoot even closer while using Manual Focus. When zoom is set between 18mm and 24mm, you can focus from distance of only 12cm, a magnification of 0.59x.
Get up to 4.5 stops of Image Stabilisation in lens, and up to 7.0 stops with coordinated control Image Stabilisation when attached to a compatible R Series camera with in body IS. This will assist with camera shake and reduce image blur when shooting hand-held in low light situations.
The RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM is equipped with a lead-screw type stepping motor (STM) to allow for smooth and quiet drive action, making it a great option for creating video content.
