How to set Continuous Shooting (PowerShot S120)

Solution

You can shoot pictures continuously as long as you hold down the shutter button.

Caution

The following explanations are provided based on the assumption that the [Shooting Mode] is set to [Program AE] ().
Cannot be used with the self-timer or [Blink Detection].
Shooting may stop momentarily or continuous shooting may slow down depending on shooting conditions, camera settings, and the zoom position.
As the number of images increases, the shooting speed may slow down.
If the flash fires, the shooting speed may slow down.
With Touch Shutter, the camera will only take one shot instead of shooting continuously.

1. Press the ⋖Power⋗ button.


2. Press the ⋖FUNC./SET⋗ () button.


3. The following screen appears on the LCD monitor.

Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗buttons to choose [Drive Mode] ().

Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons to choose [Continuous] ().

After making the selection, press the ⋖FUNC./SET⋗ () button.


4. The following screen appears on the LCD monitor.

If the [Continuous] () icon is displayed on the upper-left part of the screen, the setting is completed.

As long as you hold the ⋖shutter button⋗ down, the camera will shoot successive images.


Caution

When using Face ID, the location in the image where the name is recorded will be determined in the first shot, and will be recorded in the same place for further shots.

The following drive modes are available. Please select them according to the scene being shot.

[AF Frame] is set to [1-point] and cannot be changed.

* In [Fireworks] () mode, [Maunal Focus] ( ) mode, or when AF is locked, [Continuous Shooting AF] () is changed to [Continuous Shooting LV] ().

Please refer to the table below for information on shooting speeds in ( Continuous Shooting / Continuous Shooting AF / Continuous Shooting LV) mode.
