The camera will select the necessary settings for the conditions in which you wish to shoot when you choose the matching mode.
Set the Shooting mode
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Set the ⋖Mode Dial⋗ to one of the selectable modes shown below.
The procedure for setting ⋖Special Scene Mode⋗ () is explained below. The same procedure can also be used to set the camera to ⋖ Creative Filters Mode⋗ ().
3. Press ⋖⋗.
4. The following screen appears.
Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons or turn the ⋖⋗ dial to choose [Shooting Mode]*.
* If no changes have been made to the settings so far, [Portrait] () will be displayed.
Press ⋖⋗.
5. The following screen appears.
Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons or turn the ⋖⋗ dial to choose the desired shooting mode.
Press ⋖⋗.
6. The following screen appears.
When the icon for the desired [Shooting Mode] appears in the top-right corner of the screen, the setting is complete.
