Detail

Firmware Version 1.2.0 incorporates the following fixes and enhancements:

1. Adds support for the Canon Multi-Camera Control wireless remote application.
2. Adds support for NDI 6.
　　*NDI: An open standard for connecting video equipment over a network.
3. Enables camera control using Standard Communication (IP) when using the USB Camera Functions.
4. Adds a 2-second [I Frame Interval (sec.)] for IP streaming video.
5. Adds an automatic reconnection feature for RTMP streaming when disconnected.
6. Adds an automatic reconnection feature for SRT streaming when the camera starts up and disconnects.
7. Adds SRT streaming start / stop buttons to the Click Operation Menu.
8. Enables switching the video reception frame rate on the settings page to Normal, Low, or Off.
9. Adds a button to reset WB / Color settings and Image Quality Details settings to their default values.
10. Enables turning off the POWER / STATUS Lamp.
11. Adds area selection zoom function.
12. Adds the ability to set the movement speed by Time as a preset.
13. Adds [Preset] as the restore target in the [Backup / Restore] function.
14. Adds XC command for smoother angle movement with slow deceleration.
15. Adds the ability to set PT [Movement Range] while watching the video.
16. Increases the size of the thumbnail image on mouseover.
17. Enables setting the maximum magnification of digital zoom.
18. Improves security features.
　　- Adds the ability to review the history of any changes made to the password, network information, or other settings.
19. Enables firmware updates to be performed when the camera is connected to the internet and if new firmware is made available on Canon servers.

Update the firmware from the camera's Settings Page.

The firmware contains software modules developed by third parties. For details, see "ReadMe-E.txt" in the downloaded file and "ThirdPartySoftware-E.pdf" (third-party software) in the lower part of each folder in the "LICENSE" folder. The license terms for each module are contained in the same folder.

2. Fixed an issue in which the subject was out of focus when the focus position was specified via standard communication from software manufactured by another company. If the focus position specified via standard communication is registered in software from another manufacturer, re-register it after updating the firmware.

17. Adds Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) function for video delivery over SRT protocol.
18. Adds the option "other than network settings and management information" as restore items for the backup/ restore function. When selected this option, network settings and management information are not saved.
19. Adds Backup/ Restore function for Add-On Applications System settings.
20. Fixes minor issues.

1. Fixes an issue that caused audio noise during RTMP distribution to the video streaming service.

Setup Instructions

1. Download the file to any folder.
2. Extract files from a compressed file (ZIP file).
3. For further instructions, refer to Readme in the decompressed folder.

Caution

Do not turn off the power to the camera while performing the firmware update.
Turning off the camera at this stage may result in disabling its ability to boot correctly.
