Colored lines and text come out faint.
Cause and solution
Thin lines or text are being used.
Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Quality] sheet.
2. Click [Details].
3. Select the [Print Colored Text and Lines in Black] check box.
Cause and solution
[Special Settings 3] is enabled.
If [Special Settings 3] is enabled, the printouts may come out faint or jagged outline of the text may be noticeable. Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Finishing] sheet.
2. Click [Finishing Details], then click [Advanced Settings] in the [Finishing Details] dialog box.
3. Set [Special Print Mode] to [Off].
