Setup Instructions
Download / Installation Procedures 1. Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings. 2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image. 3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image. 4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
Caution
- From the Ver.3.0.6, OS X v10.3.9/10.4.11/10.5.8/10.6.8 will not be supported.
- [Phenomenon]When the device is connected to the network, the access to the memory card from MP Navigator EX cannot be executed by changing the device name in the operation panel of the device. [Preventive action]Change the device name back to the default.
- [Phenomenon]When switching the network connection between wireless LAN and wired LAN, the connection between MP Navigator EX and the device is disconnected. [Preventive action]Select the device in Preferences again.
- [OS X v10.7/10.8/10.9/10.10] [Phenomenon]Push-scan may not start. [Preventive action]Download MP Navigator EX Opener. After installation, follow the prepackaged manual to do the settings.
- [OS X v10.8/10.9/10.10] When you try to install the software downloaded from the Canon download library, the message will be displayed and the installer cannot be launched in some instances. Procedures for the installation: 1. While pressing and holding the Ctrl key, click on the installer package file. 2. Select [Open]. 3. "The software is from an unidentified developer. Are you sure want to open it?" is displayed. Select [Open].
