Solution

When you are using EOS R, EOS Ra, or Battery Grip BG-E22(sold separately), the following firmware version is required to charge Battery pack LP-E6NH using the USB power adaptor PD-E1 (sold separately).

EOS R, EOS Ra (Firmware Ver. 1.7.0 or later)

Battery Grip BG-E 22 (Firmware Ver. 1.1.0 or later)

The latest version of the firmware can be downloaded from the Canon Web site.
