⋖Phenomenon⋗

While your printer is connected with your computer and your printer's power is on, and if you upgrade the computer's OS from Windows Vista to Windows 7, the Compatibility Report dialog will be displayed as shown below.

If you click Next, and continue upgrading its OS to Windows 7 while your printer is connected with your computer and its power is ON, as the printer is not recognized properly, printing may not be performed.

If the printer is not recognized properly, you will see the following kinds of icons in "Devices and Printers."

Group I:

Download the drivers for the machine you are using from the website to install them.

Group II:

Right-click the icon displayed in "Devices and Printers," then select Troubleshoot.

To enjoy more functions like VIVID Photo, Simulate Illustration, Monochrome Effects, etc., Install the Add-On module for inkjet drivers; then, the Effect tab will show up and select these functions as you need.
