Solution
Save commonly used shooting modes and your configured function settings for reuse. To access saved settings later, simply turn the mode dial to [ ] or [
]. Even settings that are usually cleared when you switch shooting modes or turn the camera off (such as self-timer settings) can be retained this way.

The procedure for registering custom settings is explained below.
1. Press the power button to turn the camera on.
2. Enter a shooting mode with settings you want to save, and change the settings as desired.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
4. Move the zoom bar to choose the [ ] tab.

] buttons to choose [
].
Press the [ ], [
] buttons to choose [Save Settings], and then press the [
] button.
5. Press the [ ], [
] buttons to choose the destination, and then press the [
] button.
