  • WHO MAY ENTER THIS PROMOTION?

    This promotion is open to participants who have purchased an eligible Canon Product from a Canon Authorised New Zealand Dealer or from the Canon New Zealand official online shop between 02 July 2018 and 26 August 2018.


    Redemption must be made online before 26 September 2018.

  • AM I UNDER OBLIGATION TO PURCHASE ANYTHING TO CLAIM A CASH BACK?

    Yes. The offer is available on purchases of the appropriate product made between 02 July 2018 and 26 August 2018. All claims must be received by last mail no later than 26 October 2018 and no responsibility will be accepted for late or misdirected entries.

  • I’VE SUBMITTED MY CLAIM ONLINE, WHAT NEXT?

    If you didn’t upload a copy of your receipt during the claim process - in order for your claim to be validated and to receive your cash back you either email a copy of your receipt to cashback@canon.co.nz by 26 October 2018 or post a copy of your receipt along with the confirmation page to the address below to be received by 26 September 2018.

    Once received (via upload within the claim process or in the mail) the Canon Promotions Team will check the tax invoice against the information submitted and approve or decline the claim. You will receive notification that your claim has been approved via email. Please allow up to 28 days from the date of validation to receive your cash back.

  • IF I DON’T SEND THE REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO CLAIM MY CASH BACK?

    No. The cash back will only be sent to you once a copy of your receipt, and claim form has been received and validated.

  • WHEN WILL MY CASH BACK ARRIVE?

    Please allow up to 28 days for your cash back. Once a claim has been received and validated, the Cash Back will be delivered in the following manner:

    1. (i) Either deposited electronically into the Eligible Claimant’s nominated bank account as indicated on the claim form, within 28 days from the date of Claim validation; or
    2. (ii) A non-negotiable cheque mailed to the mailing address provided by the Eligible Claimant as indicated on the claim form, within 28 days from the date of Claim validation.
  • I’VE SENT A COPY OF MY RECEIPT AND CLAIM ID PAGE AND 28 DAYS HAVE PASSED. WHAT DO I DO?

  • HOW MANY TIMES CAN I CLAIM?

    Only two cash back claims may be made per transaction. A claimant (whether an individual or entity) may make a maximum of 4 claims under this promotion and claims will be processed in the order received by the Promoter.

  • WILL LATE ENTRIES BE ACCEPTED?

    No. All claims must be received no later than 26 September 2018 and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late or misdirected entries. If you didn’t upload a copy of your receipt during the claim process, make sure you send it into us before 26 September 2018.

    1. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer from the Promoter.
    2. This promotion is open to New Zealand residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating New Zealand retail stores, distributors, dealers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate.

    3. This Cash Back promotion applies to the following products purchased through Canon New Zealand authorised retailers (canon.co.nz/support/dealer-locator) and the Canon Official Online Store (shop.canon.co.nz) between 02 July 2018 and 26 August 2018: (Eligible Models).

    Submission of a valid cash back claim for an Eligible Model will entitle the claimant to the cashback amount listed below:

    4. To submit a claim electronically:

    (i) visit canon.co.nz/printercashback

    (ii) provide the requested details including full name, mailing address, a valid email address, and bank account details by 26 September 2018

    (iii) provide a copy of the receipt.

    (iv) It is the Participant’s responsibility to provide correct details and information. Delays and the non-payment of Claims that arise as a result of supplying incorrect details are the Participant’s sole responsibility.

    5. Claimant’s may elect to redeem the offer by mailing the receipt, together with a printed copy of the claim form (available at canon.co.nz/cashback) to Canon Printer Cash Back, PO Box 101185, North Shore 0745, in time to be received by last mail on 26 October 2018. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late or misdirected entries.
    6. On receipt of a valid claim, the Cash Back will be deposited electronically into the claimant’s nominated bank account within 28 days.
    7. The claimant may request to receive the Cash Back via a gift card. If a Participant chooses to receive a Gift Card, this is subject to the issuer’s terms of use (available at https://ichoosegift.mycardplace.com/cholder/). The EFTPOS Gift Card comes already activated and will be valid for 12 months from the date of being posted by the Promotor. The EFTPOS Gift Card will be mailed to the address provided by the claimant. If incorrect address details are provided resulting in a lost Gift Card, or the claimant loses a Gift Card, a reissue charge of NZ$15.00 will be payable by the claimant or may be deducted from the balance on the card before a replacement Gift Card is reissued.
    8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claimants, and to reject any claim that is not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.
    9. Only two cash back claims may be made per transaction. A claimant (whether an individual or entity) may make a maximum of 4 claims under this promotion and claims will be processed in the order received by the Promoter.
    10. A claimant forfeits their right to a Cash Back for purchases of products that are subsequently returned under any change of mind policy offered by an authorised retailer. The Promoter may contact its Authorised Dealers and seek information from them on the return of any Canon products during the Promotion for the purposes of this clause.
    11. Incomplete, incorrect, indecipherable or illegible claims may be deemed invalid and delays and non-payment of claims arising as a result are the sole responsibility of the claimant. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
    12. These terms and conditions do not affect claimant’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. To the extent allowed by law, the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence) for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
    13. The Promoter collects personal information of claimants in order to conduct this promotion. The Promoter will use the claimant’s personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at canon.co.nz/privacy-policy. In order to conduct the Promotion the Promoter may disclose the claimant’s personal information to third parties, including but not limited to its Authorised Dealers, service providers, suppliers and as required, regulatory authorities.
    14. The Promoter may amend the terms of this Promotion at any time. The Promoter may disqualify any claimant and modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion at any time. The Promoter’s decision on any aspect of this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    15. This promotion is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
