Fascination with Fire

Humans have always been drawn to fire, both revered and feared. As the sunsets, lingering low in the sky I want to capture the Samoan Fireknife Dance in all its glory; a picture that not only captures the skill of the dancers, but also their expressions, stature, and of course their fire trails. Sunset would be the perfect time for lighting, as it would provide atmosphere, along the opportunity to shoot both detail and mesmerising trails.
