What can I do on this new website?

The new CPS website aims to provide you with easy access to the best professional photographer service support – bar none. With new ways of connecting to a network of Canon Professionals and the broader community, we’re here to help grow your business and profile.

Getting Access


How do I log in?
  1. Click on the "Log In" button in the top right of the EOS Professional website header 
  2. Type in your CPS registered email address (the full email address your CPS Newsletter is sent to), and enter your password, then click the red "Login" button 
  3. If your login is successful, your username will now appear in place of the "Log In" button. You are now free to explore any part of the site.
What is my registered CPS email address?
Your registered CPS email address will be the same email address that we currently use to send you CPS-related communications. If you are unsure what that address is or need to update it, please contact CPS on 0800 222 666 or cps@canon.co.nz for assistance.
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
  1. Click on the "Log In" button in the top right of the EOS Professional website header
  2. Click on the "Forgotten your password?" link and enter your registered CPS email address, then click the red "Send" button. A temporary password will be sent to your registered CPS email address.
  3. When you receive the email with your temporary password, copy this password into the Password field of the Sign In page.
TIP: So you can login easily next time with a password you can remember, take 2 minutes and change it to something memorable now.

How do I change my password?
Once you are logged in, you can change your password by clicking on Update Your Details in the main menu, then My Profile > Edit details. Click on the "Change password" button, change your password to something memorable and then click on "Save Changes"
How do I know if I am logged in to the CPS Member site?
You can check to see if you are logged in by looking for your username in the top right of the EOS Professional website header.

What can I do in the "CPS Members Only" section of the website?


'Find a Professional'– create your own profile
Once you're a CPS Member, you can create a profile for your business on a publicly-viewable directory called 'Find a Professional'. To set up your profile, click on Update Your Details in the main menu. Then within "Areas of Expertise":
    • Confirm whether you'd like to be a part of the directory by selecting 'Yes' or 'No' in the drop down menu
    • If you have opted to be listed in the directory, you can then select whether you would like to include your address details as part of the listing or not
    • Next, select up to 4 areas of expertise that best describe your photographic specialties. This will help potential customers find you
    • Click on the red 'Save Changes' button.

    You can change any of these options at any time by logging in to your CPS account.

    Profile your latest work – create a Gallery of images
    1. Select Update Your Details in the main menu
    2. Go to 'My work'
    3. To upload images, click on the 'Add more work' option

    Create a portfolio of your work by following the prompts. Make sure you 'Save your entries'.

    How do I update my personal contact details?
    To update your details select 'Edit details' in the tool bar on the left of the CPS Member site and follow the prompts.
    How do I register any new professional products I purchase?
    Select "My shelf" in tool bar on the left of the CPS Member site. Then click on 'Add new product' and enter your product details. This will submit new product for registration with CPS.
    If I update my details on the EOS Professional CPS member site will it affect my CPS membership?
    If you change any personal details on the EOS Professional site via My CPS Account it will automatically update your CPS membership details.
