Auckland, 27 May, 2010

Canon Australia and New Zealand today announced two more EOS Masters - Chris McLennan and Stephen Dupont - two months after announcing the first six.

Chris and Stephen will join the other Canon EOS Masters, inspiring and challenging photographers of all experience levels to grow their creative photography capability.

“Having been a professional travel photographer for over twenty years, my Canon EOS cameras and lenses have become an essential part of my everyday life and almost feel like they are a part of me,” said Chris McLennan, Travel, Adventure and Tourism photographer.

“Having an insatiable passion for photography and travel I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to explore the many destinations, cultures and wildlife of the world through my work. It is a true honour to be awarded the prestigious title of Canon EOS Master and I look forward to sharing my images and experiences in the hope that it may inspire others on their photographic journey,” concluded McLennan.

“Photography is capturing the soul of life. It's my eyes on the world, an addiction through the windows of humanity and inhumanity,” said Stephen Dupont, Photojournalist and Filmmaker. “It is a lifetime respect to my subjects and audience, a legacy to honour the truth and spirit of those who crossed my lens. More an extended limb to my body, the Canon EOS 5D Mk II allows me to create the magic of what photography is. Being a Canon EOS Master will give me the opportunity to inspire future generations of photographers," continued Dupont.
