The appointment comes as part of an increased investment in the New Zealand market by Canon, and promises to benefit our local customers through increasing the visibility of New Zealand market requirements to Canon’s parent company in Japan.

Mizoguchi has recently held several senior roles in Europe, the USA and Japan and will commence his new role in January 2012. His responsibilities will span Canon’s complete imaging product, supplies and service portfolios; from photographic to inkjet, from business copiers and document services to print and visual communications.

Mike Johnston, Canon New Zealand’s Country Manager has decided to leave Canon in the first quarter of 2012.

“This appointment will help us further build upon the progress Mike Johnston has made over the past 5 years in strengthening Canon as the leading imaging company in New Zealand” says Taz Nakamasu, Chairman of Canon New Zealand Limited.
