Canon to upgrade firmware for EOS 5D Mark II

Canon expects the firmware update to be available in the first half of 2010 and will release more details as they become available.

Canon releases firmware upgrade for EOS 7D digital SLR camera

Canon has made available a firmware update for the EOS 7D digital SLR camera for download. Firmware Version 1.0.9 incorporates the following:

Improves AF accuracy during Live View shooting
Corrects a phenomenon where, in rare instances, movie images exhibit abnormal colours
Corrects a phenomenon where the shutter does not release when used with the built-in or external flash unit.
