Canon Australia was established in Australia in 1978 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Canon Inc. Group which had global revenues of $US45 billion in 2010. Headquartered in North Ryde in Sydney, Canon Australia employs 1,300 people throughout seven branches nationally.
Canon New Zealand is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon Australia. The New Zealand head office is based in Auckland and employs over 200 people operating throughout the country.
In Australia and New Zealand, as is all parts of the world, Canon is guided by its global corporate philosophy of kyosei – living and working together for the common good. Canon returns the benefits of its success to the community through its sponsorships, charity and environmental programs.
I’ve worked as part of the Canon Group since 1981 and joined Canon Australia in April 2011. It’s an exciting time for us as we continue our transformation to a full services and solutions provider in business imaging and continue to add value for our consumers, not only at the time of purchase, but throughout the life of their product.
